This course is designed to equip Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) with the essential skills to effectively document student interactions, progress, and challenges. Participants will learn practical note-taking techniques, including how to accurately record observations, behaviours, and interventions. They will also gain expertise in completing various documentation forms, such as incident reports, progress reports, and individualised education plans (IEPs). By the end of the course, SNAs will be able to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation that supports student learning and informs decision-making.
